About Us
CFIG is a Connecticut based financial services company providing comprehensive products and services for the implementation of personal and corporate financial plans. Our products and services help individual and organizational clients achieve their financial goals in an efficient and suitable manner.
What makes CFIG different than most competitors is the independence we have from the insurance companies, portfolio managers, investment companies and other administrative organizations that we represent. We only work with those companies that we feel will best serve our clients and advisors over the long term. We do not make decisions based on what is best only for today because most of the products and services we provide have a multi-year functional purpose. |

Our Location
Our corporate offices are located in the town of Westport, Connecticut USA. Westport is located approximately 55 miles northeast of New York City. Westport is considered to be in the greater New York City metro area. Westport is a quaint, coastal town with all the charm that surrounds such New England towns. Westport is a great place for our corporate offices but also a great place to live. We consider quality of life to be an integral part of the formula in attracting and retaining the very best employees. |

Our History
Insurance products are offered through our licensed insurance agency. Continental Five Insurance Group, Inc. is licensed as an insurance agency in the state of Connecticut and in each state where we do business. Continental Five Insurance Group, Inc. was founded and incorporated in the state of Connecticut on March 28, 1991. The first company offices were located in Dallas, Texas. In 1993, the corporate offices were relocated to Farmington, Connecticut. We continued to have a company presence in Dallas through an affiliate regional office as we do today. In 1996, the corporate offices were moved to Westport, Connecticut. We recently celebrated our fourteenth anniversary in business.
CFIG was initially formed to fulfill the needs of independent insurance professionals and financial advisors in service to their clients. We have been focused, since day one, on providing the resources that professionals need to help achieve their clients' goals and financial planning needs. We take great pride in supporting our independent professional agent and advisor network. We also provide financial planning services directly to individual clients, executives, corporations, associations, non-profit organizations, entrepreneurs and corporations. |
